EVERYTHING IS TRUE - NOTHING IS PERMITTED is a celebration of art's power to subvert our expectations, to inspire, heal, excite, confuse, disrupt and challenge perception. At the same time, it is an uncompromising protest against the glitz and glamour of an art market that reduces art's value to mere investment and entertainment. EVERYTHING IS TRUE - NOTHING IS PERMITTED revolves around the resilience of artists who refuse to accept their role as a lifestyle decorators or producers of luxury brand assets. They sink their teeth into the consequences of violence, extremism, racism, fashion, power, inequality and capitalist excess. Without moralising, they demonstrate what art can be: a powerful voice that deconstructs the madness of a world in which language has been disconnected from meaning and art detached from its own history.

EVERYTHING IS TRUE - NOTHING IS PERMITTED is in collaboration with A/POLITICAL
