“Lullaby” is a monumental installation in the form of a six-by-six-meter nightgown, composed of hundreds of real nightgowns and sheets in various shades of white. Inspired by the ritual of covering objects with white cloths when someone dies, the work transforms fragile fabric into an architecture of memory.
Illuminated from within by warm incandescent bulbs, Lullaby becomes both a shroud and a refuge—a home of tenderness and loss. Accompanied by a Ukrainian lullaby, the work reflects on vulnerability, uprooting, and the power of fragility.
