It’s time to say goodbye. In line with this year’s theme, Traces We Keep, the echoes of visions, imaginations, and confrontations from nearly fifty Rotterdam-based artists at Brutus will soon become part of the past. Still, we hope to carry some of this third edition of Wild Summer of Art into the future, traces left by you. And what better way to leave your trace than by celebrating with us at our Finissage on August 23rd from 16:00h.

Program Saturday 23 August '25 is from 16:00 until 21:00

The evening will feature food, drinks and music sets.
Two performances will also take place: during the day, artist Mel Chan invites you to reflect on and reenact themes of mortality, endings, and existence. In the evening, Meghan Clarke will present her textile-based performance, using knotting as non-productive productivity that occupies and rearranges time as a quiet act of resistance.

For those with a boundless cultural appetite: after our Finissage, at 21:00:
The film festival Roffa Mon Amour will screen BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions (2025) in Brutus’ Sculpture Garden with an exclusive deal.

If you can’t make it to the finissage, don’t worry—the WSoA exhibition will remain open until Sunday, August 24th.

Finissage: August 23th at 16:00h
